Sara

And I think it really reflects upon like life in general. Like you, you have an idea of where you want to go in life and what you're going to do with your partner, right? But then nothing ever goes to plan like things that always happen.

09;08;28;24 - 09;08;18;06

Sara

Like, there's things that you realize when your house Adobe well, actually go with 20,000 into this for the house. We're actually not going to go on vacation this year. But you know what? We're going to have a really nice house.

09;08;17;21 - 09;08;01;00

Sara

I mean, things like that are just going to happen throughout your whole life, no matter if it's on a cool trip or if it's going to be, you know, just a house renovation, but it's going to be. The cool thing is when you make decisions and you go through them together and you're like, Well, we did this

09;08;01;00 - 09;07;58;08

Sara

and we're making life with the best we possibly can.

09;07;57;24 - 09;07;46;21

Jon

So there's there's a school thing, and every time it keeps coming up, if you don't mind, it's a plug at this point because every episode this comes out. But the the old proverb that if you want to go forward together, if you want to.

09;07;46;14 - 09;07;33;20

Jon

Ask about yourself. And it's funny because I have no intent for death, but it just becomes such a central part of the conversation. It's a each time you guys were looking at the term fail and the goal failing, right?

09;07;33;17 - 09;07;22;16

Jon

It was a moment when I was weak. He was stronger. When he was weak, I was strong. And if we're both weak, we laughed, which is such a beautiful thing, right? I went so bad that we're both stuck in.

09;07;22;01 - 09;07;14;26

Jon

Let's laugh. Yeah, I love that. Well, what are you going to say? Boy, I forgot what game that is.

09;07;14;21 - 09;06;59;09

Aaron

That is a cool phrase that you said, and I think a lot of couples will will say this is true in a marriage, that it could be true abilities like he's really intense on us. I mean, unless she's really great this, I'm not so great at this and like celebrating each other.

09;06;59;09 - 09;06;36;11

Aaron

It's like, Yeah, I respect that. I, I admire that and the other person. But then also emotionally like, that's what an incredible gift like when one or the other person's weak, the other person can be strong, and sometimes they're going to assess, like if you are a little bit stronger, maybe that is your critical role in that

09;06;36;11 - 09;06;22;26

Aaron

moment. Yeah, any any more strengths they have. Yeah, they're needing every ounce of it. You guys are able to lean and really teeter totter off each other and keep moving down the road because of that. You never, never really stopped.

09;06;22;26 - 09;06;19;17

Aaron

It was more just reassess and and not quit.

09;06;18;23 - 09;06;16;23

Jon

I think so. I remember I said yes.

09;06;16;17 - 09;06;00;27

Billy

So like a lot of it too, like in terms of objected to, is when, you know, when we're interviewing for these jobs or talking to our parents or parents' friends or who are, you know, family, it's like you talk to some of these older people like me, and I wish I could have done that, you know, like

09;06;00;27 - 09;05;47;12

Billy

, are you talking to some of our friends who have already started their next career or whatever and kids and this and that, and they don't have the ability to just like, roam free whatever they want for, you know, and there was a time limit to this like, we knew this is not going to be forever.

09;05;47;12 - 09;05;36;27

Billy

So we want kids as well. We have to obviously get jobs again. So it's like, hey, like I think in my head, it was like, I never want to have to like, look back and say, I wish. Right?

09;05;36;17 - 09;05;22;22

Billy

You know which a lot of a lot of the people we've talked to, and that's amazing. I wish I could have done so, you know, like we wanted to do and we did it like that, was it? Yeah, I never want to like, look back and think, like, Yeah, I wish we the plan could have gone as

09;05;22;22 - 09;05;13;15

Billy

planned, obviously. But like in terms like, Hey, take this insane adventure of just complete and total freedom. Like, No, we did it like that. Was it.

09;05;13;15 - 09;05;05;10

Aaron

Somebody listening? Right now, though, that has a similar story of when things went the wrong way, but they did it together, and it's a fun story. Yeah.

09;05;05;00 - 09;05;02;02

Sara

I mean, the tenacity and just feel like looking at each other and.

09;05;01;17 - 09;05;01;04

Jon

Know.

09;05;00;25 - 09;04;52;03

Sara

How we can get through really anything as long as we do it together. Yeah, I mean, it really just it can go on any life lesson. So I really like it.

09;04;51;19 - 09;04;45;07

Jon

There's also the bummer because there's a lot of people who've had these first season taken the knee and they've lost it. Now they have.

09;04;45;00 - 09;04;44;24

Jon

No.

09;04;44;24 - 09;04;44;02

Sara

Personal choice.

09;04;44;00 - 09;04;28;13

Jon

And at this point, they're probably some to be breaking right or they feel sad about it. And I wish right, which I wish is a regret in my mind. Yes. And like, the thought that just jumped into my mind is when you face this, if you face those eight wishes, there's regrets.

09;04;27;29 - 09;04;15;09

Jon

If you draw breath, you can. You have a vote on what your next breath is going to be your next step. So even if you can't do it like tomorrow, you can still accomplish whatever that I wish was.

09;04;14;10 - 09;04;04;12

Jon

And maybe there's some circumstances where that is logistically or literally impossible for something or else, but the mindset shift is what I think is important.

09;04;04;08 - 09;04;03;27

Jon

Yeah.

09;04;03;24 - 09;03;48;26

Billy

And yeah, there's like obviously every decision like a big one is going to be difficult, but like there is like the just the mental transition of like, nope, I'm going to do this. I wish that's all it is, right?

09;03;48;25 - 09;03;33;22

Billy

Like, there was a sketch I sent it to you. There was a cool quote, so I can't remember Cameron has posted it. So it was amazing, though it was like it was some moves like the boxer, Vinny Paz or rally or whatever.

09;03;33;22 - 09;03;32;02

Jon

I can't remember the name specifically.

09;03;31;18 - 09;03;19;02

Billy

But he broke his neck. He was a boxer like one, like some, you know, one belt, whatever weight classes and broke his back or his neck in like a car accident was not supposed to walk again, wasn't supposed to like box again.

09;03;18;12 - 09;03;05;23

Billy

And then, like, went back and got like one again. Like his title, you want it back because. And like the reporters, like, what's the biggest lie somebody told you? It's like, it's not that simple. And she was like, Why?

09;03;05;05 - 09;02;54;01

Billy

And he's like, No, that's the biggest lie. It's not that simple. He's like, You do you figure out what you want? You just do is like, it is that simple. You just turn your mind. You just turn that transition.

09;02;54;01 - 09;02;51;18

Billy

Be like, Yeah, I want this. And that's.

09;02;51;18 - 09;02;51;12

Jon

It.

09;02;51;00 - 09;02;34;22

Sara

And Billy, like Billy, really did get us through a lot through. A trip, because I think my mind and it was such a growing experience for me because my mind was a little bit more like structure structure. We need a plan and he was like, We don't need a plan.

09;02;34;13 - 09;02;16;07

Sara

Mean, let's just let's just take this time for what it is and we don't need to be like, OK, we've we've achieved the goal of going down to Patagonia, going up to Alaska. And then now we can actually kind of talk about like even just last night on our walk because we took like a walk at sunset

09;02;16;07 - 09;02;02;20

Sara

and we were like, Oh, what are we going to do our trip to Patagonia? Oh, the our friends, the Constantinos are now moving to Alaska. Let's start planning our Alaska trip. So even though we didn't get there one day, we will.

09;02;02;05 - 09;01;46;10

Aaron

Yeah, there is a there's a poetic beauty. I think in life when we when we think of a story as as as the goal was, was one thing and then something happened along the way. And how did you deal with it?

09;01;46;09 - 09;01;33;18

Aaron

Because I think it's like, you know, the I love Rocky, you know? Yeah, what a great story. Like, like, what if the narrative was like with the trailer for the movie is like one man wants to achieve the heavyweight championship?

09;01;33;06 - 09;01;30;01

Aaron

And he did. Yep. And that's it. You know, it's like.

09;01;29;16 - 09;01;25;25

Jon

That's like, Wow, that's cool.

09;01;25;24 - 09;01;08;29

Aaron

I mean, I'm glad you had a goal to accomplish that goal. But the beauty of the human experience is that you go, I want to do the same, but it's it's there's so many unknowns, which is why I think why a lot of people don't even start the that because that's kind of common, right?

09;01;08;22 - 09;00;58;03

Aaron

People understand, like I know at some point I'm going to have to come to the point where I'm going to be faced with quit. Someone's going to make you unintelligent myself to do it. I'm going to hit some wall.

09;00;57;27 - 09;00;45;19

Aaron

I'm going to hit some adversity along the way, whether it comes from me or outside of me. And what am I going to do about it? I am worried that I will quit. Yeah. And so I won't start.

09;00;44;17 - 09;00;36;18

Aaron

Yeah. And now your story was one where it just kept coming almost to a humorous level, like you were laughing.

09;00;36;01 - 09;00;32;20

Jon

Can you believe this? And right now, like this is crazy.

09;00;32;08 - 09;00;19;16

Aaron

But you you guys had agreed like the goal together is that we're going to be doing this adventure because, you know, as John brought up, I don't want to say I wish, but yeah, it's that important. We have got to push through.

09;00;19;12 - 09;00;17;06

Aaron

My story won't be. I wish I had done that.

09;00;16;21 - 09;00;07;06

Billy

And like, as much as you say, push through wasn't like a push through. Like, we still like, Yeah, there's the days. But it was true. Like if Jack too was like, we are complete, like you.

09;00;07;05 - 09;00;06;01

Aaron

Just decided he resolved.

09;00;06;00 - 10;59;59;23

Billy

We we have complete and total control of every decision that we want to make.

10;59;59;04 - 10;59;58;26

Aaron

Sure.

10;59;58;17 - 10;59;39;00

Billy

We want to go like, you know, swim in the Pacific today and, you know, couple hour drive like in terms of like how minuscule of a decision that is, like, Yeah, I want that. Let's let's go. You know, there was no, it's not like we had a push to do that or plan change, but there was like

10;59;39;00 - 10;59;25;10

Billy

this was the objective to be completely in control versus a career. Both of us in the army where, you know, yeah, we made decisions, but we were not totally in control, like where we lived and what we did, necessarily on the weekends and this and that.

10;59;25;10 - 10;59;09;19

Billy

So. Yeah. Honestly, this trip is now like in perspective, changed how I thought about this next career, because now we both got jobs now, too. It's like, Hey, guess what, if I'm like done and bogged down with like the computer screens a little bit, I will go and just run around the yard with the dogs.

10;59;09;01 - 10;59;01;19

Billy

So that is my decision and like that is what I know. This is what makes me happy. I have no problem leaving the computer for.

10;59;01;14 - 10;58;59;29

Aaron

Not in prison. Nope. Yeah.

10;58;59;24 - 10;58;51;02

Billy

Yeah, absolutely. And Im not bogged down anymore by. I like the career path versus have complete happiness with where we are at.

10;58;50;00 - 10;58;40;15

Jon

John hasn't said that's a perfect transition because you guys outfitted for the winter upgraded your passes for winter warriors and had a great trip.

10;58;40;03 - 10;58;36;26

Sara

Yeah, that was my favorite part of the trip because I just.

10;58;36;24 - 10;58;34;23

Jon

It seemed like you guys hit a stride at that.

10;58;34;23 - 10;58;33;26

Jon

Point. Yeah, we did.

10;58;33;21 - 10;58;23;21

Sara

And it just kept on and trust me, there was bumps like, I mean, anytime travel, you're going to either going to flat tire or, you know, electrical problems. Yeah.

10;58;23;21 - 10;58;22;08

Jon

Oh yeah, right?

10;58;21;11 - 10;58;05;07

Sara

But you're still going to, I don't know, was just, we really didn't have tried everything we we planned. And I think the first part of our trip really involves us to be, you know what? Let's just go with the flow, but let's just plan as we go.

10;58;05;01 - 10;57;53;25

Sara

We got better at planning together. We got better at thinking of where do we want to go in the next four weeks? How are we going to travel? Where are we going to stay? And we just got better and.

10;57;53;18 - 10;57;53;03

Jon

We also got.

10;57;53;03 - 10;57;51;17

Billy

Better at planning to adapt.

10;57;51;14 - 10;57;51;02

Jon

Yeah.

10;57;51;01 - 10;57;45;22

Billy

So like, our plans were like, Hey, if by the way, this is a long drive, this might mess up.

10;57;45;13 - 10;57;42;08

Jon

I like the yeah, let's let's let's get.

10;57;42;03 - 10;57;38;19

Billy

Like make sure we have some like, yeah, turn off points just in case like a.

10;57;38;19 - 10;57;36;19

Jon

Snowstorm or something Creative Cloud.

10;57;35;16 - 10;57;34;26

Sara

Where it was just.

10;57;34;20 - 10;57;30;18

Jon

We planned for the. So, yeah, yeah.

10;57;30;00 - 10;57;25;11

Sara

I wish we could have had like another six months to go. And we I guess.

10;57;25;02 - 10;57;24;19

Jon

We could.

10;57;24;19 - 10;57;09;24

Sara

You know, we could. But you know, it really was that time in our life where we were just like, This is this is awesome and this is easy. We know how to live no matter because it does take a while.

10;57;09;24 - 10;56;58;02

Sara

And that's why I think there's been a lot more people. I don't know if you've seen on Instagram, but they've become they've served businesses where they actually give travel advice to people who are doing the families because it is hard to start out.

10;56;57;29 - 10;56;51;28

Sara

You're not. It's not easy, no matter how much Instagram makes it seem luxurious. And that.

10;56;51;28 - 10;56;51;14

Jon

Is the thing.

10;56;51;14 - 10;56;37;26

Billy

Too like it was. Everything's a task. You want a cup of coffee. It takes about 45 minutes. I will wake up out of the comfort of the van and I have to go around the back to our grill because we don't have like a coffee maker.

10;56;37;17 - 10;56;18;09

Billy

So I go to the grill. I sort of fire it water from somewhere. I either have to like, go get into like the river that were closed to filter it or, you know, boil it to get the water or whatever, then put it into like the the French press thing, like it's and then clean everything back up

10;56;18;09 - 10;56;14;26

Billy

and then put it back into, well, I guess it was not like, yeah, just make.

10;56;14;23 - 10;56;14;06

Sara

Alternate.

10;56;14;03 - 10;56;04;09

Billy

Not like the, you know, it's like small things you realize like so every every ounce of like the trip, even the comfortable parts are like, you have to like work to get.

10;56;04;01 - 10;55;48;05

Sara

Right now. The camper was a little bit more luxurious. Yeah, I mean, there's running water, but I mean, you saw the spill plan on filling up your water tank or filling up your jerry cans in the winter. You can't really winter eyes.

10;55;47;26 - 10;55;27;03

Sara

Then you have this management emptying the sewage. You have to plan on a lot of things that you normally just don't have to and or propane for your heat. We learned one night a camper how many bolts of battery we have to have twelve hour for the propane to run again, about ten volts in order for our

10;55;27;03 - 10;55;11;02

Sara

heat, our propane heat to run more like our propane does our heat. That's a run on battery. Why does it take battery? Why is our heat not on? And we thought we had a huge problem, right? The next morning, I called Northwood.

10;55;10;13 - 10;55;07;17

Sara

And you can just call them and you know, they help you.

10;55;07;17 - 10;55;06;19

Jon

Set the manufacturer's.

10;55;06;19 - 10;54;53;27

Sara

Yes, that they figure out the issue and they're like, Well, do you have any battery left whatsoever? Like, No, it's so dead or alive? Well, that's your issue. And we're like, Oh, I just kept on evolving.

10;54;53;12 - 10;54;49;19

Jon

I think there'd be a note to that. Like, Hey, if you want your future, keep it about ten.

10;54;49;18 - 10;54;48;02

Jon

Whole street in the city were.

10;54;47;22 - 10;54;37;00

Sara

It wasn't. It wasn't in the manual now. Come on. That's very. And it happened at 2:00 a.m. So the water bowl for the dog was frozen and woke up with like.

10;54;36;19 - 10;54;34;06

Jon

15 chickens out physical.

10;54;33;08 - 10;54;31;20

Sara

So that was a learning experience.

10;54;31;09 - 10;54;11;28

Jon

So it's kind of fun because. So here we are. You're now enjoying the winter chef. You're adapting to the new lifestyle on your new home. It's fun stuff. Fun Adventures still has these issues, but really, you're hitting that time kind of flew by my memory, too, because the issues in which I was only involved, except for the

10;54;11;28 - 10;54;09;15

Jon

distance, but the coals were like, Get things again.

10;54;09;12 - 10;54;07;16

Jon

OK, cool. It wasn't like.

10;54;07;11 - 10;54;03;13

Sara

Things were easy. Yeah. How did you deal with everything at that?

10;54;03;10 - 10;53;59;09

Jon

You paid your dues for the process or mostly behind.

10;53;59;03 - 10;53;46;04

Sara

And it was like every day we're just like, we are so lucky, like I did I. We were just, you know, at that point or, you know, at the end of the night, we just lay in bed and be like, This is so awesome that we're doing this.

10;53;46;04 - 10;53;34;08

Sara

And tomorrow we're just one student at Jackson Hole or Big Sky or Taos, New Mexico. Like, it was just so amazing when we just woke up and we're like, Oh, life is life is easy.

10;53;33;14 - 10;53;22;16

Jon

The calls were very short in this part of the trip because early on I made a point. We made a point to reach out to each other once a week at least, and take your life as a trip going to in anything in the second half.

10;53;22;15 - 10;53;17;29

Jon

It's like, Yeah, I need to distribute to the hospital itself and we're see tomorrow. All right.

10;53;17;02 - 10;53;12;10

Jon

And they'd be like classmates. Yeah, well, how in a. But but that's great.

10;53;12;10 - 10;52;59;07

Jon

So and it's an awesome transition. So the six months goes, you guys Adobe Thomas, which is Arbor Bell, because we had a board also today of two dogs. You trip around you every time of your lives. And you're like, Well, our years about that, which was your goal.

10;52;58;26 - 10;52;53;17

Jon

Mm hmm. We're going to transition and hope to get someone else to hire to explore.

10;52;52;23 - 10;52;52;13

Aaron

Yeah.

10;52;52;13 - 10;52;50;05

Jon

So yeah, and that was interesting.

10;52;49;17 - 10;52;33;06

Sara

Um, all right. So I was a little bit more nervous about the job search. I don't know why I just was, so I actually did my project management course throughout the end of our trip. And then I was trying to apply and apply to like 50 jobs.

10;52;33;05 - 10;52;22;18

Sara

I got literally nothing because you just need to know somebody in order to get an interview. You just have to get to that interview stage really took a little bit of a different approach.

10;52;22;07 - 10;52;19;10

Billy

What was that again? I felt like.

10;52;18;20 - 10;52;02;06

Jon

That was my thing. So I saw I was like, I was pretty late in terms of applying. So it was like, you know, they'll they'll pick me up. So that was my thought process, not where they.

10;52;02;04 - 10;52;00;07

Sara

Want to go. But it is.

10;52;00;07 - 10;51;59;16

Jon

Really cool.

10;51;59;15 - 10;51;46;14

Sara

You know, when you are done searching. So it was a little bit different by, I guess the person who hired me was I went through eight interviews because I was unqualified for the job.

10;51;46;01 - 10;51;44;23

Jon

But mostly.

10;51;44;13 - 10;51;43;25

Sara

Loosely.

10;51;43;25 - 10;51;41;06

Jon

Yeah, you were qualified to have the call and.

10;51;41;06 - 10;51;39;01

Sara

It has applications. Yeah, that was a better way.

10;51;39;01 - 10;51;38;04

Jon

It's a good distinction.

10;51;37;07 - 10;51;36;07

Sara

Yeah. And so.

10;51;36;06 - 10;51;35;16

Jon

You're capable.

10;51;35;08 - 10;51;20;09

Sara

And he was like, How are you going to go from doing nothing every day will not nothing on skiing and living the life and then going to a job I know like because I am just so ready to work right now.

10;51;20;04 - 10;51;04;04

Sara

The best thing is because you're where I'm just I'm ready. I'm ready to kind of just dove into it. And so, yeah, it was hard at first, but it was really just a lot of my my the person who I networked with, you know, vouch for me.

10;51;03;00 - 10;50;50;11

Billy

And then, yeah, mine was more of a reset. Somebody that I knew from the army who was working for this company and. Yeah. Interview later. Got it. I mean, it wasn't yesterday.

10;50;49;28 - 10;50;47;17

Jon

So they say, well, it wasn't.

10;50;46;26 - 10;50;34;01

Billy

I'm being absolutely naive and like that thought process too. I just it was like, now like, I'm not ready to wear. I guess I wasn't ready for this trip like that part of our life to be over. Like I was fully like, Invest.

10;50;34;01 - 10;50;31;18

Billy

Like, No, I love what we're doing.

10;50;31;18 - 10;50;15;24

Sara

Like Billy's is very confident also like, that's what makes it different. He's very confident and he's like, No, I like I will make your organization better. Like, I think I was like, You know, I think way too much into it.

10;50;15;24 - 10;50;06;28

Sara

And I think that's why Billy can just get, you know what? I'll take off her. You're still on me. And it's a great thing to watch, you know, being a partner.

10;50;06;00 - 10;49;54;07

Aaron

Yeah, you go ahead. I didn't say Billy and I thought about this earlier, too. You're you're that mentality like to have at least one friend like you who who simplifies it, simplifies it.

10;49;53;25 - 10;49;47;21

Billy

You know, like I said, like, I mean, what is perfect? Like, the biggest lie is it's not as simple, and it's like.

10;49;47;16 - 10;49;34;18

Aaron

Well, because we might have these conversations and maddening with people who they talk themselves about everything. Yeah. Like, man, I really wish I could learn Spanish. Like, you be like, All right, why do you always finish this? You just do it.

10;49;34;17 - 10;49;31;15

Aaron

It's like, so pretty anyway in order to see that today.

10;49;30;16 - 10;49;29;01

Jon

And like I said, the resources.

10;49;29;01 - 10;49;07;18

Billy

I mean, just the YouTube or anything, but the resources we have now, like you could do literally, and you want to do something. It's only as you commit, like, no, I will end with no degree and whatever if I want to, like be a vineyard person, like grow like vines and like, be a winemaker like, it's actually

10;49;07;15 - 10;48;55;06

Billy

it's very easy. As long as you commit, like, make your mind up, you know, I'm going to do this. What are the steps? It's like life steps up done. All right. Got it. They're like, I'm simplifying it a ton, obviously.

10;48;54;27 - 10;48;45;12

Billy

Like, some people have a degree in this, but like that is like, you know, you break it down. Like, I get the degree I have a knowledge and I and then I do a marathon.

10;48;45;12 - 10;48;31;12

Jon

Simple, you just take a bunch of steps. Yeah, it's difficult. And the combination of the steps, yeah, right. Or in hindsight, is so cool. And and it is interesting because there is a huge factor is just execute. Just do it.

10;48;31;01 - 10;48;15;24

Jon

Just get after just start start. Like the power starting is insane because you hamstring yourself with all the potential roadblocks before you get started. But if you just start, you'll learn what roadblocks are real and what aren't, and then you get what you learn how to overcome, or.

10;48;15;03 - 10;48;11;09

Aaron

That they're not as bad as you make them up to be right. You hit that road.

10;48;11;03 - 10;48;09;26

Jon

Listening to Matthew.

10;48;09;25 - 10;47;52;24

Billy

McConaughey in podcasting and when he walked, he much like 100 £190, 130 for that role, he did. Oh yeah, in Dallas. And he was like, and he was talking to Joe Rogan podcast for you saw in Joe. Like, what was the hardest part is like, you know, was it like dieting?

10;47;52;24 - 10;47;41;24

Billy

The eating is like, No, that wasn't the hardest part. The hardest part was making the decision to do it. Yeah. You know, like I had to commit like every night, like, Oh, my, like my family's all in this insane diet.

10;47;41;24 - 10;47;28;15

Billy

Like I look every day and I see like, oh, chicken nuggets this and that, whatever it's like. And the hardest. And it's once you start and commit like, that's the hard part, because once you're in, it's like, Oh no, I like, you can see that I don't I don't want to eat it.

10;47;28;06 - 10;47;24;02

Billy

And the hardest part is like being like, Hey, I will do this.

10;47;23;27 - 10;47;07;18

Jon

Great testament to that, too. It's so I didn't run much actually in the military. I enjoyed the thing. I was consistent. My fitness belly showed that ability and Sara show up for Thanksgiving. It's Wednesday night before Thanksgiving. We're sitting on the couch, usually a six pack like enjoying ourselves, right?

10;47;07;08 - 10;47;04;25

Jon

We're from the military, so they have a high tolerance judge s.

10;47;03;06 - 10;47;02;17

Jon

Making her.

10;47;00;29 - 10;46;48;21

Jon

Facial expressions aren't shown. Don't start. So we're sitting on the couch having great conversation, had this great meal. The kids are down. All of us are talking to. So yes, I want to look tomorrow secluded sighted decision like we're going to work out tomorrow together.

10;46;48;21 - 10;46;43;27

Jon

I want you look at Goggins work out, which if you're not familiar, that means pain. And Aaron, you.

10;46;43;27 - 10;46;39;11

Jon

Come to that. Yeah, you're there. So Aaron comes over that first. What about you guys?

10;46;39;09 - 10;46;38;05

Aaron

I was fresh as a daisy.

10;46;38;05 - 10;46;32;13

Jon

Yeah, he was good. He was fresh as a daisy, but not aware of what we were going to do.

10;46;32;06 - 10;46;26;20

Jon

Chuck, no big deal. We're just going to do like we're just starting to work out affiliate dreamed up where it's like five k five had breakfast.

10;46;26;20 - 10;46;25;21

Aaron

I had to do the look logo.

10;46;25;19 - 10;46;19;03

Jon

It was, oh, yeah. Oh, that's that's. And he's basically masochists, right? So service and.

10;46;18;26 - 10;46;11;04

Jon

Sold out under the five game and we did it and that launched a bunch of product projects around challenges. And the point to me bringing that up.

10;46;11;04 - 10;46;06;09

Aaron

Into the icy wind and a headwind in the middle of winter and.

10;46;05;23 - 10;46;05;00

Sara

Beards were just.

10;46;04;19 - 10;45;52;21

Aaron

It was correct. No, no. It was brutal. It was. It was. The task itself was hard. And then all the environment was like, You need to stop doing this right now. I regret not being able to breathe the air flowing into our love.

10;45;52;14 - 10;45;51;27

Jon

And that was.

10;45;51;27 - 10;45;48;04

Billy

Like somebody was red lining according to their launches, like I've read.

10;45;47;22 - 10;45;47;15

Jon

Yes.

10;45;47;01 - 10;45;29;06

Jon

And what was funny is like that was kind of the impromptu starting of something that was then carried on for. Something like over 85 case through the dead of winter and with that hard day, which was really difficult due to two of them and we're like, we're absolutely dead.

10;45;28;26 - 10;45;17;09

Jon

But that became one of the easier runs in my memory compared to some of the storms that we ran through and things like that. And the reason I wrote this cheeky analogy of you just jumped in like hedge monster.

10;45;17;07 - 10;45;06;00

Jon

Do it? Yeah, it's a start. Forget it. Let's just do it. And then once you start, who cares? Yeah. Can you get the wheels moving? Momentum is going for you. You'll learn how to adapt and overcome. Yes, you'll get stronger.

10;45;05;29 - 10;44;53;16

Billy

The ideas, commitment, commitment. Just a minute or two, if you walk into it with a true dedication and commitment to it versus being like, I'll try it. You know what I mean? Like, it's different. Like, no diet works.

10;44;53;16 - 10;44;35;06

Billy

It's just I'll try it. Yeah, I only recently commit like, I am doing this. There was no the mental turn on off, like yes or no or like, you know, success or failure. Yeah, there's no try. Like, it's just like, I will do this or and like, Yeah, you're going to adapt.

10;44;35;03 - 10;44;23;23

Billy

That was a trip to like, I will have complete freedom or whatever, whatever the trip was just like, Oh, we can't do Alaska and this and that, whatever. But we've committed to doing this thing and we will make the best of it.

10;44;23;23 - 10;44;17;19

Billy

And we've had I mean, this is a life changing year in India in terms my eyes now, you know.

10;44;17;11 - 10;44;10;04

Jon

But so and you're right, because you wrote that that one work at fun, pretty Thanksgiving thing. There was no question of, Oh.

10;44;10;04 - 10;44;08;17

Jon

Let's try it. Yeah.

10;44;08;00 - 10;43;58;14

Jon

Yeah, we're going to do it. And it's like, OK, we're going to do it. And we did it. And that was it. And then we play football the next Turkey Bowl Day, and then we worked out again on Friday, and that's life.

10;43;58;14 - 10;43;41;14

Jon

And that's what you guys triplets. And that's what all of these factors are. It's it's the people who work. And it reminds you that Theodore Roosevelt, the in the arena, it's like, whoa, to those who won't step in their gray lives, something that very loosely, it's like, yeah, like you just once you jump in and wrestle with

10;43;41;13 - 10;43;30;05

Jon

is vibrant. Life is full and you have no idea what can be achieved. So it's kind of exciting. So just just commit. It's that it's that man in the arena. Yeah, man and.

10;43;30;05 - 10;43;16;08

Aaron

Mentality like to choose to be there and do it, you know? And and because you'll hear a lot of people talk about, I wish or even mark you like, it must be nice that you have this, this and this
